From Panic to Presentation in 1 Hour
A Friday night rescue you can repeat

Welcome to The Logical Box!
Your guide to making AI work for you.
Hey,
Andrew here from The Logical Box, where I break down AI so it’s easy to understand and even easier to use.
Today, I'm sharing how one hour with Gamma rescued a client from a stressful Friday-night deadline and turned panic into praise by Tuesday morning.
I will give you the exact five-step process we used, so you can feel calm the next time a last-minute request lands on your email.

The Story
It was Friday night and my client (let’s call her Sandra), was sliding her laptop into her bag, thinking about a well-earned weekend off. Sandra is sharp but not tech-savvy. AI was not something she liked to think about or even discuss.
Just then her manager emailed:
“I need a full brand-awareness campaign deck emailed to me by Tuesday morning.”
Sandra felt her stomach drop and the frustration started to set in. Building a campaign deck was something she never did before and she knew it would take her two or three focused days. She tried to push ahead. She did a little over the weekend, searching Google for templates, tinkered with half-finished ideas, but nothing was coming together. Family obligations filled her weekend. By Monday morning she had zero slides and a rising knot of worry.
That’s when she called me.
“Andrew, I know you love this AI stuff and have seen what you are doing with it. Can it really help me?”
I asked a single question:
“Are you open to trying one simple tool with me for the next sixty minutes?”
She said yes, half hopeful, half desperate.
I opened Gamma on a screen share and showed her the steps:
Click New AI Project
Choose Presentation
Type up one clear prompt with goals, audience, timeline, and tone, etc.
Press Generate
We watched it generate in front of her eyes. In seconds Gamma built ten slides packed with bullet points, images, charts, timelines, and a draft budget. Sandra’s eyes went wide.
“No way!” Sandra laughed in disbelief. “I can't believe we just created all that so quickly. This is amazing!”
We spent 30 more minutes tweaking colors, added new cover, made edits, swapping a few examples, and tightening the wording. Total time: one hour. She emailed the deck before her meeting with her manager. Her manager loved it so much she saved it for leadership review.
Sandra went from never say AI around me to what else can this do? in a single session. And the best part?
She kept her weekend plans and her sanity.
What We Did in 60 Minutes (snapshot)
Discussed our idea
Opened Gamma and clicked Create New AI
Selected Presentation and chose Generate
Wrote one clear prompt with goals, audience, and tone
Watched Gamma draft ten slides in seconds
Edited the wording and brand colors together
Total time: one hour.
Result: a complete deck with bullets, charts, timeline, and draft budget. She emailed it before lunch. Her manager saved it for leadership to review.
How You Can Use Gamma AI Too
You don’t need to be tech-savvy.
Follow these five steps and feel the stress lift away.
Step 1: Open the Door
Go to gamma.app and create a free account.
The welcome screen shows three big buttons.
Click the middle one, “Create New AI.”
Take a breath; you’re already ahead of schedule.
Step 2: Pick Your Magic Wand
Choose “Generate.”
Think of it as handing the AI a blank canvas and fresh paint.
In one click the pressure of layout and design shifts off your shoulders.
Step 3: Tell Gamma What to Build
Select “Presentation.”
Gamma now knows the format you need, no extra toggles, no buried menus.
You can almost hear the blank slide count down to zero.
Step 4: Feed It a Clear Prompt
Copy or tweak this:
“I need a 10-slide marketing deck that boosts brand awareness in [your city]. Include bullet points, charts, images, a 4-week timeline, and a rough budget. Keep the tone confident and professional.”
Add details that matter like target audience, brand colors, budget range.
The clearer you are, the less fixing you’ll do later.
Step 5: Press Enter and Watch
In seconds Gamma sketches the entire story:
title slide, market snapshot, creative ideas, timeline, budget, next steps.
Your heart rate drops as each slide appears.
Don't Forget: Shape It to Fit Your Needs
Review – Scan each slide. Does it speak in your voice?
Edit – Swap examples, adjust numbers, edit text, drag in your logo.
Polish – Change colors, reorder slides, tighten wording.
10 to 30 minutes of tuning turns a good draft into a deck you’re proud to share.

How This Helps You
Tight deadlines will hit your inbox too. Gamma turns a blank page into a first draft fast so you can:
Spend time refining ideas, not formatting slides
Keep projects on track when staff is thin
Show leadership that you handle pressure with smart tools
The real benefit is confidence. Once you see AI handle the heavy lifting, you stop fearing the next big ask.
