1. Can you name one task you want AI to help with?

Not ten tasks. Just one.
Pick something repetitive, slow, or predictable.
If you can name it, you are ready for the first step.

2. Do you know what “done” looks like for that task?

AI needs direction, not perfection.
Write one sentence describing the outcome you want.
If you know the outcome, AI will know where to aim.

3. Do you know what information AI needs from you?

AI cannot read your mind.
Think about what context, examples, or details it needs.
If you can answer that, you are ready for real results.

4. Do you know where this task fits in your workflow?

AI should replace steps, not add steps.
If you can see exactly when you would use it, you are ready.

5. Do you know how you will measure a small win?

AI readiness is built through small gains, not big leaps.
If you can define what improvement looks like, you are ready for momentum.
